Thursday saw the release of a dance-filled music video for her song “Giddy Up!” by the country music legend. The country-pop banger is the opening track and official second single from Twain’s upcoming album “Queen of Me,” which will be released on Feb. 3 2023.(Shania twain music videos).
Twain’s infectious chorus encourages listeners to find their own spark, or “put some up in your giddy.” Twain explained that the phrase “giddy up” was intended to evoke the joy of her lyrical catchphrase “Let’s go girls!” from her late-1990s hit “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!”
“‘Let’s Go Girls!‘ is such a wonderfully uplifting sentiment now, but it was just something I said in the studio during the recording, and I guess it’s the same for ‘Giddy Up!‘” According to a press release, Twain. “I want people to feel good when they hear the new album,” she says. “I want to set a celebratory tone, and ‘Giddy Up!’ is a way of saying to the audience, ‘Let’s get ready for some fun!'” (Shania twain music videos)

Twain appears in the “Giddy Up!” music video, directed by Justin Marmorstein of Marmo Films. As a greased-up mechanic in an auto shop. “Giddy Up!” is an upbeat initiative that reflects Twain’s resilience over the years. The Grammy-winning singer spoke to AARP The Magazine in 2020 about finding personal strength after her divorce from music producer Robert “Mutt” Lange.
“”I get overwhelmed sometimes coping with things, but experience also teaches you how to manage,” Twain told the outlet at the time. “As you get older, you gain a lot of experience falling and getting back up. You’re not going to be able to stop falling. However, you will become more adept at getting up and brushing yourself off. That is what I believe. I’ve been through it.”
“Queen of Me” is Twain’s first album since 2017’s “Now,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Twain will begin a 70-city headlining tour in support of the album on April 28 in Spokane, Washington.
